Wild Life Holiday Program for High School Students
Who is it for? Youth in Years 8-12
When: 6th - 10th October 2008 from 9am-4pm
Activities:
Monday: Rock Climbing Tuesday: Flying Fox and Volunteering Wednesday: Ski Biscuiting
Thursday: Sports & Games Day Friday: Adventure World
Who’s running the program? South Perth Youth Services, under the auspices of South Perth Church of Christ and proudly partnering with the City of South Perth (Wild Life is not a religious program). Assisted by the Department for Communities, Government of Western Australia.
Location: George Burnett Leisure Centre, Manning Road, Karawara
Price: $120/week or $30/day ($35 day for Adventure World) (Price includes morning tea & lunch)
Fee help is available for eligible participants
Early bird: $105/wk or $25/day ($30day for Adventure World) if paid by Friday 19th Sept
Wild Life meets at the George Burnett Leisure Centre,
Fee help is available for eligible participants.

I really want to thank you both and the team for a great week of Wild Life activities. I am so grateful for what you are giving to my kids through the Wild Life School holidays weeks. I can’t believe that more families don’t take up what you are offering! I want you to know that the space that you provided has had a profound impact on their lives, and on us as a family. Instead of having to bargain and negotiate for computer time for example, you gave them a social/relational framework that is incredibly healthy. You guys made them feel welcome, included and accepted just for who they are. Your Youth Program is probably the only place in life (aside from family) where they receive this kind of relational freedom. I love the fact that they were challenged to get into heaps of different activities and challenges … the fact that they did this indicates the level of comfort and acceptance that they feels with you guys. It’s priceless. Thanks again for the many ways that as a team. You are investing significantly into my kids lives. Wild Life is way more than teenage daycare! (23rd April 2007)
